Milford, PA (January 27, 2014) – Rocky Mountain Firearms, in conjunction with the Pike County Historical Society, is releasing a Special Edition Rifle to commemorate the 200th Anniversary of Pike County Pennsylvania.
These collectable firearms and family heirlooms will be built on collector-grade Henry .22 caliber rifles. There will be only 25 Blued Henry rifles available and also 25 Henry Golden Boy rifles available, and all will be individually numbered. The rifles are available to order at the time of this release, on a first come first served basis. The rifles will feature various important historical scenes of Pike County Pennsylvania. All the historical scenes are engraved into the woodwork of the rifles. There are a total of six different engravings of history from the area. Engravings include the Pike County Courthouse 1874, Map of Pike County including township borders and names, picture of Zebulon Montgomery Pike, Columns Museum 1904, Grey Towers 1886, and Roebling’s Delaware Aqueduct 1847. Along with the engraved scenes are also the anniversary dates of the Bicentennial (1814 to 2014), and the county and state’s name.
Rocky Mountain Firearms will be making a donation to the Pike County Historical Society on the sale of every rifle for its help with the project.
