The flag is protected, preserved and on permanent display at The Columns museum.

Current Hours

Wednesday: 1:00pm – 4:00pm

Saturday: 1:00pm – 4:00pm

Sunday: 11:00am – 2:00pm

Research will continue to be by appointment.

Admission

$5.00 for adults, $3.00 for students. FREE for children and members.

Donations

We’re happy to accept donations. Historical artifacts must be pertinent to the history of Pike County.

The Columns is a 22-room mansion built in the neo-classical style.

Home to the Pike County Historical Society and the Columns Museum, the property features two floors of historical exhibits and interesting artifacts in a grand 1904 neo-classical mansion!

Free Admission

As a member of Pike County Historical Society, you and your guest are entitled to free admission to The Columns throughout the year.

PCHS Newsletters

You will receive a copy of the newsletter that is published three times yearly. Members are also encouraged to submit editorial content for consideration in the newsletter.

Research & Genealogy

The Pike County Historical Society maintains a large collection of genealogical resources through which people from all over the country may research information about their ancestors who lived in Pike County and other nearby areas.

Visitors doing genealogical research at the museum are asked to pay a $20 fee.

Hundreds of exhibits & artifacts

Our exhibits contain a collection of art works, books, historical photographs, and vintage clothing.

The Hiawatha Stage Coach: A completely restored and roadworthy original Abbott and Downing Concord Coach. Ask us about renting it for your next special event!
